A Chinese ink stone with an old rosewood box from the late 19th - early 20th century. The stone is rectangular in shape and is carved with a chilong in each of the two corners of the deep well. It has a Greek Key border as well. The stone is fitted into an old rosewood box. Dimensions are: 9 inches long X 5 7/8 inches wide X 3/4 of an inch high for the ink stone. The box is 9 7/8 inches long X 6 5/8 inches wide X1 3/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The stone is in good, but used condition. The box has a crack in one corner.
