A Chinese red ground silk skirt embroidered with blue flowers and dating from the 19th century. Two panels are embroidered with the 8 Buddhist emblems, and the skirt has a border of bats and Shou medallions. Dimensions are: 39 inches tall X 76 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition with minor age wear. Provenance: From a collector in the Mid-west, whose parents were missionaries in China from the 1930s to 1940s.
