A 7-character Chinese calligraphy couplet in ink on red and gold-flecked paper by Pu Ru. The second calligraphy has 2 seals, and each is mounted on a silk backing and silk dowels. Dimensions are: each measures 41 1/2 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The scrolls show minor creasing. Provenance: From the estate of Ji Zhaoming, whose father was Ji Yuanpu. He was the deputy director of Nationalist Intelligence Agency.
