A Chinese set of 5 4-character calligraphies in ink on red paper by Yu Youren, Jia Jinde, Wang Congyu, Xu Shiying, and Niu Yongjian. Each has 1 seal and is mounted on a silk backing. Dimensions are: 9 1/2 inches tall X 5 3/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The set has minor wear and 1 has a small tear. Provenance: From the estate of Ji Zhaoming, whose father was Ji Yuanpu. He was the deputy director of Nationalist Intelligence Agency.
