Well potted with rounded tapering body rising from a countersunk base to a short waisted neck and flaring mouth-rim, the exterior freely decorated in dark brown slip and highlighted with incisions with two peony blooms borne on stem with slender leaves, with two butterfly fluttering nearby, all against a creamy-white slip ground, the unglazed base fired to a light buff-orange tone, 7.5 inch high.
