落款：金寿堂造（双款） |金寿堂堂主雨宫宗||金寿堂为明治时期京都地区五大堂号之一，擅长制作金银镶嵌工艺，现今在欧洲博物馆馆藏许多明治金工中的落有金寿堂堂号的作品，深受欧洲人所喜爱与珍藏。此壶线条圆润饱满，气质高雅，壶身银镶嵌双帆风顺，在唐代孟郊的〈送崔爽之湖南〉诗：“江与湖相通，二水洗高空。定知一日帆，使得千里风。”喻意一路畅行无阻，仕途顺遂。
