Hizen ware, Hirado type, Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th centurySet on a splayed foot and with an elongated neck and an everted rim molded to resemble flower petals and applied with two dragons coiled around the shoulder and neck, molded around the foot with a standing leaf band, painted in underglaze cobalt with a mountainous landscape and sailing vessels near a rocky coastline, the foot painted with stylized waves, the rim painted with flower petals 13 3/4in (34.9cm) high
