题识：|1、隐元。|2、隐元。||钤印：提雨、无邪、野泽氏印 |说明：释隐元，俗姓林，名隆琦，字曾昺，号子房，福建福清人。明万历四十八年（1620），投福清黄檗山万福寺剃度出家，法号“隐元”。周游各地，遍访名师，崇祯八年（1635），成为佛教临济宗正式传法者。两年后，为黄檗山万福寺住持。四出募化，扩建寺院，使万福寺成为中国东南名刹。永历五年（1651）万福寺僧众达数千人，隐元因此被尊为一代僧杰。永历八年（1654），隐元应邀率三十位知名僧俗，从厦门启航赴日本长崎，成为日本黄檗宗的开山鼻祖。
