Description

题识：大野总长夏夜同集酒楼即席赋呈两政，乙亥小暑胡嗣瑗初稿。||钤印：臣嗣瑗印、未死深疑负过恩 |说明：胡嗣瑗，字晴初，亦字琴初，又字愔仲，别号自玉。贵州贵阳人。光绪二十九年（1903）进士。精通史学，擅长诗词、书法。点翰林后历任翰林院编修、天津北洋法政学堂总办，又曾充当直隶总督陈夔龙的幕僚。辛亥革命前后任江苏金陵道尹、江苏将军府咨议厅长。民国初年因文名被直隶都督冯国璋聘为督军公署秘书长，继而随冯赴江苏都督任，颇受青睐。1917年参与张勋复辟，出任内阁左丞。后胡嗣瑗随溥仪到东北任职终老。
