|砚端石质，色紫如马肝，随形，薄体，砚面微凹，砚首琢松树纹，砚岗处以端石石眼化作一轮明月，掩映于浓密的松针之间。砚盒盖内琢有行书铭文，文“蔚卿仁兄大人雅正，惟山有石厥，名曰端，磨不磷兮涅不缁，其殆积墨侯之密友，管城子之相知。宛南琢堂刻为。”书风灵动俊秀。其通体墨锈斑驳，古意盎然。
