|卷册 一通一页||提要 钱信忠(1911年-2009年)，1911年出生于江苏宝山县(今上海市宝山区)，1935年加入中国共产党，1955年被授予少将军衔。历任中国卫生部部长、国家计划生育委员会主任、中国红十字会会长等职。1983年获首届联合国人口奖，主编了《中国医学百科全书》，着有《人口新作》。是中共十二大代表，中顾委委员，第三、六届全国人大代表，第五届全国人大常委，第一届全国政协代表。2009年12月31日在北京逝世，享年98岁。
