款识：江南四月雨晴时，兰吐幽香竹弄姿……仙槎老友法家属，向镛。|钤印：向镛之印（白） |作者简介：向镛（1885~1943），字金甫，号蔗公，四川内江人，定居浙江兰溪。工兰竹、花卉，侨寓杭州，时与应均齐名，偶写山水，亦称不俗，亦善金石之学。三十年代在上海城隍庙以卖画为生。画艺高超，卖画所得足够维持生计，但因生活放荡不羁，晚年穷困潦倒，病死于到兰溪船上。
