An Arabian silver mounted presentation jambia and scabbard, mid-20th century, the imitation ivory handle with piqué inlaid decoration, the scabbard with filigree work and braided decoration, total length 31cm, within a red case with gilt Sultanate of Oman insignia. Provenance: this jambia was presented to Sir William Luce during his time as Governor of Aden and political resident in the Persian Gulf between 1956 and 1966.Buyer’s Premium 29.4% (including VAT @ 20%) of the hammer price.
