MARK OF GEORG JENSEN, COPENHAGEN, 1916of rectangular form, raised on four beaded block feet, and wood lined, the hinged cover and two sides with applied foliate scrolling inset panels; one side panel dated 1866 and the other dated 1916, this piece was almost certainly commissioned to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the founding of 'Det Forenede Dampskibs-Selskab' on 11 December 1866.19cm (7½in.) long
