|木彫差し根付 兎 無銘 19世紀後期Provenance: Felix Tikotin collection.Published: Katchen, N7, vol.2, p.359, no.K187.The elongated creature shown running, facing ahead, its hind legs stretched out and its forelegs drawn in for compactness, the soft wood painted white with red highlights. The work, carved slightly in Ittobori, is in the style of Bushoan Tessen or Morikawa Toen, working in the late 19th century.
