|黒檀/黒柿彫根付 閑古鳥 銘「岷江(花押)」 18世紀後期/19世紀前期Provenance: Purchased at Hotel Drouot, Paris, 1965.Published: Katchen, N7, vol.2, p.83, no.K31.Perched on the overturned drum, facing ahead and its tail trailing over the end, which is engraved with mitsu-domoe (three-comma motif), the dark wood somewhat worn and the comb lacquered red, the wattles inlaid with pink coral and the eyes of mother-of-pearl with dark pupils.
