A similar group of dolphins was exhibited in an exhibition of Michael Webb's work at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, England, in 1983, illustrated in the catalogue, no.8, and illustrated in Lazarnick, NIA, p.1212.A netsuke of two sharks in a similar attitude by Michael Webb, from the Katchen collection, was sold in these rooms, 10 May 2017, lot 166.
