|木彫象嵌根付 瓢箪 銘「宗[...]」 19世紀後期Provenance: Purchased at Hotel Drouot, Paris, 1965.Published:Katchen, N7, vol.1, p.265, no.K669.Of lobed form, inlaid around the sides with a snail and large leaves in pewter, mother-of-pearl, horn and tortoiseshell, the cord holes ringed with bone.The work is attributed to Shibayama Soichi, who made netsuke and inro in the late 19th century, the second kanji obliterated.
