RARE SINO-TIBETAN GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF SITASAMVARA AND HIS CONSORT VAJRAVARAHI QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY finely cast depicting Sitasamvara seated in vajraparyankasana upon a double lotus pedestal base with his hands supporting a pair of ambrosial jars whilst embracing his partially separately cast consort Vajravarani, the latter holding two skull cups, wearing a thin dhoti with incised floral hems and a jewelled necklace, his face with a fierce expression and framed by a high five-pointed crown 10.7cm high
