TWO FINELY CARVED AGATE SNUFF BOTTLES QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY both of compressed spherical form, the first cleverly carved in relief using the different tones of the stone, to the front face with the He He twins holding a large lotus spray, the reverse with a fisherman looking up towards a swallow; the second of white agate, carved on one side in mid-relief and incorporating the russet inclusions of the stone with an elderly man holding a parasol for a boy pointing at something in the distance (2) larger one 6cm high (excluding stopper)
