|此缸硕大周正，风格敦厚古朴，瓷质坚硬，釉质肥厚泛青。外壁主体饰云龙纹图案，纹饰栩栩如生，画风古拙，气势宏伟，颇具皇家气势。清初，龙缸屡屡烧制不利。康熙十年的《浮梁县志》载：“国朝顺治十一年，奉旨烧造龙缸，径围三尺五寸，墙厚三寸，底厚五寸，高二尺三寸，每烧出窑，或塌或裂，自十一年起至十四年，缸造二百余口，无一成品。”也可见龙缸烧造难度之高。这件青花云龙大缸，时代特征明显，是一件康熙晚期景德镇烧造的巨制精品。
