A TURQUIOISE GLAZED RETICULATED FLOWER BASKET, Kangxi (1662-1722), of lozenge shape with aubergine rope twist handle applied with yellow glazed peonies, the rim with Greek key banding over a trelliswork body and foot support, 10cm wide Provenance: Sheppards, Carlow Collection, March 2010a collection assembled in Philadelphia during the 1940s by two sisters who later returned with it to Ireland. Items from this collection first started appearing on the open market in 2010. The collection was diverse, but all of it had merit, and amongst it were several imperial porcelains.
