By Nobumitsu, Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th centuryEach naturalistically cast with its body slightly curved to the right, balanced on its fins and its tail thrashing in the water, its eyes double-inlaid with gilt and black pupils; each signed on one pelvic fin Nobumitsu within an oval reserve. The larger carp: 25cm (9 7/8in) long; the smaller carp: 21.5cm (8½in) long. (2).
