唇口厚沿，短直颈，腹鼓，底圆，附一对龙耳，下承三力士人形足，配荷叶形紫檀盖。颈部饰一圈缠枝花卉绘，底部刻“宣德年制”四字篆书款。龙耳炉通体皮壳较厚实，富有层次，隐现炉身之金铜本色。炉底为铜质本色，闪现雪花金，铜色灿烂，是为精纯提炼之铜。此炉造型古朴，为炉中妙品。
