Description

清朝盛行三镶如意之造型，即柄首、柄握、柄端三处镶和阗白玉。此件即为典型三镶如意形制。此器柄身为乌木，包浆亮丽致密，由上至下分别嵌三块白玉瓦子，海棠形，以剔地浮雕技法作松下图，雕刻山水、人物，一老者手执拐杖，侍童手持灵芝恭敬在侧，画面布局巧妙，尽现灵动之感。三镶如意是乾隆时期因尚古而发展出来的独特工艺设计创举。以竹、木为主材，首、腹、尾三处镶以玉器为饰，尤以装镶古玉为贵。
