沉香朝珠，共一百零八颗，呈色棕褐，色泽沉雅，香气醇正。配有隔珠、佛头、背云，坠角，念串。此器选料上乘，沉香脂凝结厚重。虽经历数百年，摩挲中仍散发出幽幽淡香。按清代冠服制度，君臣、命妇凡穿朝服或吉服必于胸前挂朝珠。朝珠成为清代特有的冠服配饰之一，其质料考究，配戴亦有规定。朝珠多用东珠、翡翠、琥珀、珊瑚、碧玺、芙蓉石等世间奇珍异宝雕琢制成，其中沉香朝珠精美而典雅，气质非凡，又具备药用价值，具有皇家风范。
