|扳指壁身极厚，玉质温婉细腻，宛若羊脂，油性极佳，选料精纯，净素无纹，取其质地之美，形制规整，线条柔和，打磨精细，既可实用，亦可品玩。扳指在古代叫韘。汉代许慎《说文解字》“射决也，所以钩弦，以象骨韦，系着右巨指”。但随着弓箭在战场上的作用越来越小，韘的实用功能变得越来越弱，装饰功能逐渐增强，因而出现了众多制作精美的扳指。|翎管整体呈圆柱形，顶端为半圆形钮，中一穿，光素无纹，碾工精致，抛光精良。采用上等白玉精雕而成，材质幼滑，莹透纯洁，惹人喜爱。在清代，佩带翡翠翎管和白玉翎管常为一品文武高官的象征。此件翎管用料上乘，做工精细，值得藏家珍爱收藏。
