潜陶氏，韩泰，清末民初陶刻名家，号潜陶，宜兴城南人。韩泰出身碑刻世家。他上中学时就与当时的宜兴著名金石书画家卢兰芳、紫砂实业家胡汉文结为好友。民国初年，韩泰被艺古斋的紫砂实业家赵松亭聘为技师，专门从事紫砂陶刻。他发挥碑刻的特点，把金文、篆文、钟鼓文及青铜器上的纹饰巧妙地运用在陶刻上，使他的陶刻作品古色古香，风格独特。
