|绣墩又称坐墩，因常有铺锦披绣的，故亦称“绣墩”。它是圆形，腹部大，上下小，其造型尤似古代的鼓，故又叫“鼓墩”。明清之际，不仅在室内使用，也常在庭园、室外陈设。绣墩具有古雅之趣，它在造型艺术上更是千姿百态，座面的式样除圆形外，有海棠、梅花、瓜棱、椭圆形等。此对绣墩落落大方，清澄脱俗，给人典雅沉静的视觉感受。|此对绣墩红木材质，面呈圆形，整体形状似鼓。面下与托泥上端环雕鼓钉纹，形成对称。绣墩腔壁作开光装饰，浮雕如意云头纹饰，工整对称，细腻逼真，玲珑别致，为清代常有的特征。此套绣墩，做工精细，格调高雅，成对保存，实属难得。
