Idar-Oberstein, GermanyThe egg decorated with vivid turquoise blue enamel on a guilloché ground, rimmed entirely in 18K yellow gold, with one sapphire cabochon surmount, weighing 1.55 carats, and a second sapphire cabochon thumb-piece, weighing approximately 2.26 carats. The stem is formed of three stylized dolphins in 18K yellow gold, above a border of 20 small circular blue sapphire cabochons, weighing 3.10 carats, atop a base of rock crystal quartz. The egg opening to reveal a removable brooch depicting a goldfish, carved out of a very fine specimen of Oregon sunstone, weighing 20.06 carats, with three diamonds, weighing 0.06 carats, and 5 small seed pearls, height of brooch 2 in. Height overall: 7 in
