|墨大致作卵形，平板状，两面各精雕一只展翅低飞落姿的凤凰，其凤翅尽展，身姿雍容袅娜，双翅羽毛层叠细密，精巧雅致。墨锭顶端抑压有篆书“御墨”二字，字内填金，侧面抑有“大清乾隆年制”楷书纵向款识，字内同填以金。款识字小如粟，书风精湛工整。墨系传统书画必用之物，历来讲究材料配方、纹饰图案，墨模雕琢工艺等等，以求赏用兼备，赏心悦目。此组墨品以皇家御用凤纹为饰，墨模雕刻极为精整，当非一般俗工所能为，其凤羽翎毛层次分明，抟墨及模压工艺以极为上乘，与清宫墨品风格一致，足见其非凡出身，其外饰漆皮呈相冷静含蓄，亦显示沧桑岁月之风貌。当为乾隆宫廷御制用墨无疑。配原包装锦盒，亦造型规整，古香古色。
