|八出葵花形，圆钮。内区钮侧对饰展翅挂绶之双雁，钮下莲花。外区四对图案，二方框、二方胜二流云、二莲枝，方框内饰有“千”、“秋”两字。千秋镜皆为八出葵花形。主要是皇帝赐予四品以上的王公大臣。唐玄宗李隆基曾写诗记录自己向群臣此镜的事情《千秋节赐群臣镜》：瑞露垂花绶，寒冰澈宝轮。对兹台上月，聊以庆佳辰。
