印文：“性不伤物”|边款：“巨来” |▲||陈斝（1905－1984），字巨来，后以字行，号塙斋，别署安持，安持老人，斋名安持精舍，浙江平湖人。幼承家学，篆刻初从嘉兴陶惕若，十九岁起拜一代宗师赵叔孺先生为师。后又得见平湖葛书征辑《元明清三代象牙犀角印存》，便专玫元朱文。乃师叔孺赞他”刻印醇厚，元朱文为近代第一。自言平生刻印不下三万方，全国各大博物馆、图书馆都请他刻制元朱文考藏印，当代书画大家张大千、溥心畬、吴湖帆、叶恭绰、冯超然、张伯驹、谢稚柳等用印皆出其手。
