|此炉以铜鎏金錾刻工艺铸造而成。其风格为典型的乾隆造办处风格系列。熏盖与炉身子母口相套，唇口方折，口平起沿，沿外部周身錾刻以缠枝花草纹装饰。束颈，腰饰莲瓣纹一周。其下圆形鼓腹，炉腹前后饰开光浮雕梅花图案，并团寿纹。炉腹两侧以狮铺首为钮耳。其下呈南瓜分裆形，三足鼎力。其足旁均錾刻有缠枝花卉纹饰。整器刻画传神，工艺精美，开光通体浮雕装饰，鎏金完美，金水夺目，工艺精湛繁复。雄狮戏球端坐炉盖之上做捉手，仰首立姿，口微启，双眼怒凸，双耳直立，浅浮雕翼翅满身，爪牙锋利，左爪捧球，右爪伏地。铜色古穆，鎏金斑驳，明色对比，傲然物外。本件熏炉雕工工艺上乘，铸造考究，铜质精炼。
