|此像采用了“寄木造”技术，即分块雕刻制作，然后通过粘合拼接组装而成。因其高超的雕刻和粘合技术，使整尊佛像通体形成光滑优雅的流线型。|阿弥陀如来发髻高隆，面相圆润，法相庄严。双耳垂肩，双目低垂，内嵌琉璃眼，神态慈悲安详。从眼眉、眼帘、鼻、唇、下颌处划分出明显的块面结构。身着袒胸露右臂袈裟，袈裟分出块面的衣纹，褶纹真实。双手结上品上生印，即两手的食指与拇指相触，呈金刚跏趺座安住在莲花法座之上。巨大的背光由花鬘环绕环绕组成，火焰形边缘腾空而上，形成弧形尖顶。|参阅：美国波士顿美术馆藏12世纪阿弥陀佛坐像
