A pair of Chinese imperial plates with 6-character Guangxu marks on the bottom and being of the period. The porcelain plates are decorated with double Shi medallions, Fu characters, and 4 orange bats. The border is turquoise ground with brown and green bats and Buddhist crosses. The exterior depicts floral tracery. Dimensions are: 1 1/4 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One plate has a hairline crack in the rim and a 1/8 inch chip in the rim, the other is in good condition. Provenance: From a woman's collection in Washington D.C.
