Rock crystal hilt and Damascus steel knife from the 18th - 19th century. The hilt is carved out of rock crystal. It is set with red and clear stones in a flower form on either side and the quillon of the hilt is set with a line of red and clear stones as well. The blade is styled with chevrons of Damascus steel, showing off the mottling of the steel. Near the hilt the blade has a gold-toned design. Dimensions are: 15 1/8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: A stone is missing, but it is in otherwise good condition. Provenance: From a Vancouver, Canada estate.
