款识：雍正御制 |说明：本品俊秀怡人，胎骨轻薄，品质卓群。外壁通施胭脂红釉，厚润匀净，色若绛霞，美如宝石。内壁与外底皆施白釉，莹润晳白，所书年款，端庄规整。执之对饮，纤巧如玉，犹称佳器。|胭脂红创烧于清康熙末年，为珐琅彩料之一，以微量金作着色剂、在炉内经800℃左右烘烧而成的低温红釉。先前是从欧洲转入，故被称为“洋金红”或“西洋红”，因其色一如妇女化妆所用之胭脂，故名。由于烧制不易，提纯困难，颇为名贵，《陶雅》谓之“华贵中之佚丽者也……匀净明艳，殆亡伦比。紫晶逊其鲜妍，玫瑰无其娇丽”。传世所见以雍正朝品质最精，色泽娇嫩欲滴。在雍正十三年（1735年）督陶官唐英所撰《陶成纪事碑》中有载，称之“西洋红色器皿”。
