Two pieces of campaign jewelry produced for Lyndon B. Johnson's political bids in the early 1960s, including: a gold-plated tie clasp, 1.75˝ in length, with bar pin engraved "LBJ"; and a silver-tone lapel pin in the shape of the United States, .75 x .5, with front featuring raised lettering, "LBJ for the USA," and the back engraved, "DNC 1964." Lapel pin includes clutch backing and chain. In overall fine condition. From the estate of Secret Service Agent Warren W. 'Woody' Taylor. On November 22, 1963, the day of President Kennedy's assassination, Taylor was on assignment in Dallas working as a Special Agent on Vice Presidential detail to protect Lady Bird Johnson. Taylor was in the vehicle immediately behind the Vice President's car in the Presidential motorcade.
