Ca. 19th century Ghandara Indian style Buddha with both hands in Dhyana or Meditation pose. The hand gesture that promotes the energy of meditation, deep contemplation and unity with higher energy. The Buddha has a peaceful countenance with downcast introspective eyes and a firm brow. He has a large ushnisha protuberance on top of his head that symbolizing his high level of spiritual development.
