Two items: a TLS signed "Your sincere friend, Hussein," one page, royal letterhead, April 27, 1974, in part: "Thank you so much for the truly magnificent piece of armament, the pistol, which you and Kenneth kindly sent me. It is indeed a great addition to my collection of armaments"; and a matte-finish portrait of King Hussein wearing his military attire, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "To my friend John Crawford, with best wishes, Hussein, 27. 4.
