Description
Translation provided by Youdao
A cobalt blue colored tea cup with matching saucer from the Yuan Dynasty. A dragon can be discerned on the face of the saucer as well as traces of what was probably a Phoenix. Most of the gold paint has worn off through the years but it is, largely, intact at the bottom of the cup, and in the very center of the saucer - where a 6-petaled flower can be seen. H.1 1/2in.(3.9cm),D.3in.(7.6cm); D. 5 1/2in.(14cm) Condition: Small chip on the underside of the rim of the cup. Indentations on the rim of the saucer - evidentially from the time of firing. Much of the gold paint-work has worn off through the years.
