A Chinese jade archaistic cup with a wooden stand and dating from the Ming dynasty. There is a 4-character mark carved on the bottom, and there is a dragon head carved into the handle. The body has a grain pattern for the ground, ruyi bands at the top and bottom, and features a phoenix and a dragon. Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From Mrs. Rosenfeld in Washington, DC area, collection passed down from her late husband.
