A large Chinese blue and white porcelain vase dating from the 19th century and accompanied by a wooden stand. The main band of the body is decorated with lotus tracery, and above it are bands of ruyi motifs, waves, Greek key designs, and geometric patterns. The vase has large handles decorated with 3 bands of waves. Dimensions are: 20 inches tall X 12 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a crack and repair to 1 handle, and a few glaze pops to the surface. Provenance: From Mrs. Novell in Atlanta, GA, collected by parents many years ago.
