A Chinese blue and white porcelain lidded ginger jar with a 6-character Kangxi mark and of the period. The jar depicts women and children playing a garden setting, and the lid has a peach-shaped finial and also depicts children playing. Dimensions are: 11 inches tall X 8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The lid has a glaze pop, 2 iron pits, and a chip to the top of the finial. The body has a few iron pits and surface abrasions, but is in overall good condition. Provenance: From Mr. Rosenzweig in Baltimore, MD, family heirloom.
