A Chinese doucai porcelain plate with a 6-character Kangxi mark and of the period. The interior depicts 2 birds in a flowering tree, the exterior depicts flowering branches in blue, green, yellow, and red. Dimensions are: 1 1/2inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition with a few minor surface abrasions. Provenance: From a Northwest US collector, whose parents accumulated the collection while living in Shanghai from the 1930s to 1950s and in Hong Kong and Taiwan in the 1950s and 1960s. Lot 291 to 304 of our Asian Art Auction in Sept 8, 2018 were part of the same collection. Lot 300 from Sept 8, 2018 auction was a matching pair with this plate.
