A Chinese Yixing ceramic teapot dating from the early 20th century. There is a 2-character mark inside the lid, and 3 characters with a 6-character mark on the bottom of the teapot. The body of the teapot depicts 16 characters on the front. Dimensions are: 6 1/4 inches tall X 8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition with some minor wear to the finish on the top and back. Provenance: From Mr. & Mrs. Cheng in La Jolla, CA, bought in Hong Kong prior to the 1980s.
