A Chinese carved bamboo brush pot dating from the 17th to the 18th century. The carvings depict 8 figures in a mountain landscape with a river, pine trees, and bamboo in a scene from the poem "Red Cliff". Dimensions are: 6 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are a few small cracks due to humidity, but it is in overall good condition.
