The front and back cover pages of each of the three larger books are in color while the rest are black and white. The books show works designed by master printmakers such as Suzuki Harunobu (c. 1725-1770), the first printmaker to produce full-color prints, Ishikawa Toyonobu (1711-1785) and Torii Kiyonaga (1752-1815), among others, and was published during the Meiji period (1868-1912).Dimensions: BOOK SIZE APPROX. 26.2 x 19.1 CM EACH, SHEET SIZE APPROX. 26.1 x 18.6 CM EACH Condition: The three large books are in overall good condition; browning and stains mostly outside the images; the back cover of one leaflet is missing; the fourth book shows extensive stains, creases and tearsProvenance: German private collection
