American physician and patriot (c. 1723–1805) from Savannah, Georgia, who was captured by the British during the Revolutionary War and later served as a delegate to the Continental Congress in 1781 and 1782. Manuscript DS, signed “N. W. Jones,” one page, 7.5 x 5.25, April 21, 1769. Pay order to Messrs. Clay & Habersham, in part: "Please to pay Mr. Joseph Parker or order the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterling and Charge the same."
